Pumphouse Point

Tasmania

I often think that a place speaks to you through the way that it makes you feel - the way it impacted you and left its mark.

It's not usually the big moments, rather the in-between moments, that are the most beautiful. Being mesmerised by the light as it dances through the windows just so. Landscapes that move you to reflection and awe, as time stretches and slows. The exhilarating aliveness as the wind pushes past you, almost aggressively. The first sip of tea, as you observe the elements from the comfort of warmth.

When we pay attention to the subtleties of moments, it is the feelings that feed the stories.
