We wake early, stumbling to the ocean that is only a stone's throw away, with a hot coffee in our hands. It is winter, the water is numbing - but we jump in anyway.

Feeling alive (and cold) we run back to the outdoor shower. The steam curls around us, dancing in the morning light. The smell of the fire from inside escapes through the chimney, the smell of cosy winter days and board games.

Paquita and her husband built The Pearl themselves - and the attention to detail and love that has gone into the home does not go unnoticed. It is the perfect blend of luxury retreat and relaxed seaside holiday.
